IOTA 8866 is a colorless to pale yellow transparent liquid with an average molecular weight of 4250. It has a viscosity range of 800-1800 cst (25°C) and a hydroxyl content of 0.8%. Application Fields and Problems Solved:
Polyurethane Materials:
IOTA 8866 reacts with isocyanates to form -NCO-end-capped prepolymers, significantly improving the wear resistance and anti-adhesion properties of polyurethane materials, addressing issues such as wear and adhesion in traditional polyurethane materials.
Polyester Materials:
Adding IOTA 8866 to polyester materials imparts a smooth feel and improves anti-soiling properties, solving the issues of rough texture and easy contamination in conventional polyester materials.
Polyurethane Acrylate Resins:

Usage Instructions:
For polyurethane materials, it is recommended to co-polymerize with isocyanates at 85°C. For polyester materials and polyurethane acrylate resins, it can be directly added to the main resin and evenly dispersed.

IOTA 8866 is available in 125ml brown glass bottles, 25KG plastic drums, or 200KG plastic drums. It has a shelf life of 24 months when stored in unopened conditions at room temperature.
