The newly developed Carbon Hydroxy Silicone Oil IOTA 28300 (α,ω-Bis(3-(2-hydroxyethoxy)propyl)polydimethylsiloxane), with its unique Si-C bond structure, has become an ideal choice for modifying polyurethane, polyester, and epoxy resins. Compared to traditional Si-O-C bond modifications, IOTA 28300 significantly improves the hydrolysis resistance of materials, making it suitable for high-humidity or long-term water-exposure environments.
