In the formulation design of addition-cure silicone rubber, how to precisely balance hardness, modulus, and elongation at break has always been a core challenge for engineers. IOTA-611 Mono-Terminated Hydrogen Silicone Oil, with its unique molecular structure—one end is an inert trimethylsiloxy group, and the other end is a reactive dimethylsiloxy group—provides you with a precise tool to control material properties at the molecular level.
Precise Adjustment of Hardness and Toughness
As a macromolecular monomer, IOTA-611 can undergo hydrosilylation reactions with vinyl-containing silicone rubber base materials, introducing flexible polysiloxane segments into the molecular chains. This significantly improves the material's elongation at break while flexibly adjusting hardness and modulus.
Excellent System Compatibility
Fully compatible with di-functional, branched, and side-chain hydrogen-containing silicone oils, allowing flexible compounding to meet diverse material performance requirements for different application scenarios.
Strong Chemical Modification Capability
Not only suitable for silicone rubber systems but also capable of reacting with compounds containing C=C double bonds or C≡C triple bonds, enabling the functional grafting of organic polymers with polysiloxanes.

Note: Molecular weight and viscosity can be customized upon request, supporting personalized molecular design.
Electronic Potting Compounds and Sealants: Adjust hardness and elasticity to adapt to different vibration and thermal expansion environments.
Silicone Rubber Keypads and Rolls: Optimize tactile feel and resilience, enhancing product durability.
Medical Device Silicone Components: Adjust the softness and mechanical properties of biocompatible materials.
High-Temperature Silicone Rubber Products: Enhance toughness retention after thermal aging.
In addition-cure silicone rubber systems, the recommended dosage is 0.5%–5% of the base polymer weight. The specific ratio should be adjusted based on the target hardness and elongation. Before use, ensure the system is free from catalyst poisons (e.g., sulfur, phosphorus, tin compounds).
Packaging Specifications: 1 kg, 5 kg, 25 kg, 200 kg internally coated iron drums or IBC totes, nitrogen-purged and sealed.
Storage Conditions: Cool and dry, avoid contact with oxidizers, acids, and bases, keep away from heat sources.
Shelf Life: 6 months (can be retested after expiration; if qualified, still usable).
