Recently, our company launched the IOTA-Pt Platinum Catalyst, a highly efficient and professional catalyst that is widely used in industries such as silicone rubber, coatings, and defoamers.
The product has the molecular formula C8H18OPtSi2 and a molecular weight of 381.48, offering high activity and excellent stability.
Key features of the IOTA-Pt catalyst include:

  • High Activity: It can quickly catalyze the addition crosslinking reaction between vinylsiloxane (usually vinyl silicone oils and raw rubber containing vinyl groups) and hydrosiloxane (typically hydrosilicone oils), with fast reaction speed and high efficiency.
  • Versatility: It is used not only as a curing agent for compression molded compounds, silicone rubber tubes, pacifiers, etc., but also as a catalyst in encapsulants, silicone sheets, molding gels, and more.
  • Customization: The platinum content can be customized according to customer requirements, ranging from 500 PPM to 200,000 PPM to meet various needs.

Additionally, the IOTA-Pt platinum catalyst is also used in the synthesis of modified polysiloxanes and amino siloxanes, making it an ideal agent for polyurethanes, silicone coatings, and defoamers.
