Product Description

IOTA 2865H is a dihydroxyl functional silicone oligomer with reactivity similar to polyols. It can copolymerize with -NCO, -COOH, and other groups. It is mainly used in the synthesis of silicone-modified polyurethane resins and emulsions, as well as silicone-modified polyester resins. It imparts good hand feel to resins and enhances wear resistance, anti-blocking, stain resistance, and anti-graffiti performance.

Typical Applications

1. Synthesis of Silicone-Modified Polyurethane Resins and Emulsions

  • Can be added together with polyester diols or polyether diols, or added during the later stage of synthesis

  • Recommended copolymerization temperature with MDI, TDI: 85°C

  • Recommended copolymerization temperature with IPDI: approximately 110°C

2. Two-Component PU Baking Paints / Amino Baking Paints

  • Add directly to the main resin and disperse evenly before use
