In the field of high-end polyurethane resins, coatings, and inks, “smooth hand feel” and “surface stain resistance” are often difficult to achieve simultaneously. IOTA 2865H Dihydroxyl Functional Silicone Oligomer breaks through this limitation. Using reactive hydroxyl groups as anchoring points, it copolymerizes with isocyanate (-NCO), carboxyl (-COOH), and other functional groups, permanently introducing the excellent surface properties of silicones into the resin backbone. It delivers comprehensive improvements in wear resistance, anti-blocking, stain resistance, anti-graffiti, and superior hand feel for polyurethane, polyester, and other systems.
IOTA 2865H is a dihydroxyl functional silicone oligomer with reactivity similar to polyols. It can copolymerize with -NCO, -COOH, and other groups. It is mainly used in the synthesis of silicone-modified polyurethane resins and emulsions, as well as silicone-modified polyester resins. It imparts good hand feel to resins and enhances wear resistance, anti-blocking, stain resistance, and anti-graffiti performance.
