In the fields of high-temperature industrial protection and ultra-weather-resistant outdoor coatings, application convenience and heat resistance are often difficult to achieve together. IOTA 6146 Acrylic-Modified Silicone Resin combines the fast ambient self-drying characteristic of acrylic resins with the outstanding temperature resistance of silicone resins. It can be surface-dried quickly at room temperature (thumb-dry in about half an hour) and, when formulated into a coating, withstands temperatures exceeding 500°C, while maintaining excellent gloss and color retention. It is an ideal binder for high-temperature self-drying coatings and ultra-weather-resistant coatings.
