IOTA 9600B is a silicone gel composed of a dimethicone/vinyl dimethicone crosspolymer dispersed in low-viscosity dimethicone. It uses low-viscosity dimethicone as the dispersion medium rather than cyclic dimethicone, providing a more long-lasting skin feel. With an elastomer content of approximately 20%, it functions as an efficient thickener in W/O systems. Slight thickening may occur after extended storage, but this does not affect performance.
IOTA 9600B delivers a silky smooth feel and can be processed either with heating or at ambient temperature, offering broad processing flexibility. It is widely used in skincare, sun care, color cosmetics, and antiperspirant series.
