IOTA 6103 is a pure silicone solid resin offering excellent high/low temperature performance, arc and corona resistance, electrical insulation, and water repellency. It exhibits outstanding weatherability, mechanical strength, flame retardancy, corrosion resistance, ozone resistance, and chemical stability – specifically designed for protective coatings in demanding environments. With high methyl content, it forms hard, tough films with excellent gloss. Molded plastics made from this resin have a low coefficient of thermal expansion, ensuring dimensional stability. Its low softening point (85±5°C) enables film formation at 180–200°C, reducing energy consumption.
