IOTA 68604 is a high-performance waterborne silicone resin emulsion designed for high-temperature resistant coatings. Using water as the dispersion medium, it contains no toluene or xylene, features low odor, and complies with stringent environmental regulations. It offers excellent water dilutability, good stability (acid/alkali resistance, heat storage, centrifugation, and dilution stability), and high-speed dispersibility for efficient industrial production.
Excellent film-forming properties allow fast surface drying at ambient temperature, along with good wetting and leveling for smooth, dense coatings. When formulated with suitable heat-stable pigments, fillers, or metal powders, it can produce waterborne coatings resistant to 200–1000°C. Fully cured films exhibit outstanding thermal stability, weatherability, and salt spray resistance, combined with good hardness, toughness, abrasion resistance, impact resistance, and chemical resistance.

Cures in 10–60 minutes at 200–280°C – higher temperature, shorter curing time. Optimal curing conditions:
220°C × 30 min or 280°C × 10 min
Under these conditions, the film achieves optimal salt spray and chemical resistance.
