IOTA 6864 is a self-emulsifying waterborne silicone resin emulsion specifically designed for high-performance waterborne high-temperature coatings. It can be formulated with various heat-stable pigments and fillers, serving as an ideal base resin for high-temperature waterborne coatings. Its ambient self-drying property makes it particularly suitable for large anti-corrosion equipment and on-site applications where baking is not feasible. It also supports low-temperature baking and two-component curing for flexible processing. After curing, the film exhibits excellent fullness, high gloss, and superior hardness, combining outstanding decorative and protective properties. It can also be blended with other waterborne resin systems for enhanced performance.
✅ Ambient self-drying – no baking required, ideal for on-site applications and large structures
✅ High-temperature resistance – long-term use at 200–800°C, with higher peak temperature capability
✅ High gloss and fullness – aesthetics and protection combined
✅ Superior hardness and adhesion – outperforms conventional waterborne and some solvent-borne systems
✅ Good miscibility – compatible with acrylic, epoxy, and polyester emulsions for synergistic performance enhancement
✅ Low VOC – waterborne, eco-friendly, fully compliant
✅ Flexible processing – supports one-component self-drying, 180–200°C low-temperature baking, or two-component curing
