Anhui IOTA’s IOTA 207 Methyl Phenyl Hydrogen Silicone Resin is a specialized crosslinking agent designed for high-refractive-index LED encapsulation gels and addition-cured high-temperature silicone rubber. Synthesized through a unique phenyl monomer process, this product features highly reactive Si-H bonds, significantly enhancing thermal resistance, optical performance, and mechanical strength. It is widely used in advanced electronic encapsulation and specialty rubber applications.

Applications

1. LED Encapsulation Gels

  • Refractive Index Matching: Combined with phenyl silicone oil, achieves 1.54 RI, minimizing light loss

  • Low Yellowing: Platinum-catalyzed addition reaction produces no byproducts, ensuring long-term clarity

2. High-Temperature Silicone Rubber

  • Fast Curing: Vulcanizes in 10-30 minutes at 80-120°C

  • Enhanced Heat Resistance: Enables short-term 300°C endurance (ASTM D638 tested)

Usage Guidelines

  1. Recommended Ratios:

    • LED encapsulation: 3-8% addition

    • High-temp silicone rubber: 1-5% addition

  2. Catalyst Conditions: 10-50ppm platinum catalyst, 80-150°C

  3. Precautions:

    • Avoid direct mixing with OH/NCO-reactive substances

    • Store in cool, dry conditions to prevent moisture absorption
