IOTA 6080 is a pure methyl solid silicone resin with a very high silica content. It exhibits excellent heat resistance and generates extremely low smoke during use. In addition, this resin features high reactivity, strong adhesion, high hardness, and outstanding scratch resistance, making it suitable for industrial applications with demanding performance requirements for coatings or adhesive layers.

Solvent Method:
When preparing coatings or adhesives via the solvent method, toluene or xylene is recommended as the solvent. Fully dissolve the resin before formulation. Moderate heating (≤60°C) may be applied during dissolution. It is advisable to filter the solution through a 200‑mesh filter cloth and check for clarity before use.
Powder Coating Method:
When preparing resistor insulating coatings via the powder coating method, ensure thorough mixing and encapsulation of the resin with pigments and fillers.
